I have been in search of replacement compression socks/stockings for a long time. I took a chance on these and am very happy. I am 5'8" with a women's size 11/men's size 9.5 shoe and a 19 inch calf. I have a heavy leg! These fit as if they were made for me. They are not binding at the knee and have stayed in place all day (no rolling down or bunching up). I hesitate to call them "socks", though. I equate "socks" with cotton content and these do not have cotton content. They are more like a thick stocking. Either way, they are perfect for work with dress pants and would be fine for either a man or a woman. Finally a replacement for the medi-peds brand I was previously wearing. I will be reordering!
