BUY IT! Trust me, i live in a hurricane infested country - Philippines. If the hurricane doesnt catch your attention, maybe our monsoons are not enough? I have owned thousands of umbrellas since my childhood and there was only one time whe my father brought a kick-ass umbrella from abroad.. it was the sturdiest umbrella ever. Double the thickness like this one and it stood by myside and was very reliable my classmates back then in college and all th rest of the onlookers were jealous of my umbrella. It got stolen and i couldnt find another replacement until i came after this after 10 years. Its built quality is same with what i had its almost nostalgic. This has yet to be tested in our weather buti have no doubt it will stand the test of time and element. Im pretty sure the coating will wear overtime so i would suggest buying a water repellant spray for outdoor gear / tent to replenish it. I will update this review in case it doesnt live up to its standard.
