*QUICK NOTE* There are a lot of counterfeit batteries out there. Country of origin/assembly do vary during an OEM run, but the battery I purchased is the real deal. Pay attention to whom you're actually purchasing your battery from. I picked one that said "Fulfilled by Amazon" and got an actual Samsung product, and the battery makes my three-year-old phone act like new. Bottom line - look carefully before purchasing. This listing will offer the same battery from "other sellers" - and while I cannot vouch for the authenticity of those batteries, I can say that the one fulfilled by Amazon is an actual authentic Samsung battery.
