This is a very comfortable Topper that made our new overly firm bed practically into a pillowtop bed. I had a hard time choosing between the Standard, bamboo, or the double Thick due to many reasons including; Cost, size, and possibility of being overly plush. I decided to try out the plush double thick after reading many reviews. I am very happy with the decision and think I would have been very disappointed with the Standard, since the Double thick is perfect and wouldn't have wanted anything thinner. I believe it is worth the extra cost. Will update review after I have used the topper for a few months.
