I met Cord and Tish at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Howard Johnsons in Schenectady, NY back in 1997. I was sooooo nervous at the meet and greet, but they were so down to earth. We ended up sharing some fried pickles and polishing off a few bottles of Boone's Strawberry Hill. As we were chatting we somehow got on the subject of the Dalai Lama. Well, it comes out that Tish always thought it was Dolly Llama. As in a llama named Dolly. I almost peed my pants. Great times.
