So this thing is FANTASTIC! I have 2 high energy dogs (Golden Retriever and a Pit Bull) and NOT a lot of energy myself. I can walk them till the cows come home and not even come close to dissipating any of their energy. ENTER THE WALKY DOG! Just got this gadget in the mail Monday and I'm already loving it! Easy to attach...really Tighten those Screws and bring the allen wrench with you. (the only downfall of this device is the pole loosening its grip on the bike, which isn't as bad as it sounds) I attached my dogs (1 at a time of course) and started out by walking them down the street so they could see how things were about to go down. At the end of the block, I jumped on the bike and took off! I've never seen a bigger smile on their faces! I did use the bungee to give my Golden a little extra space since he's a little skittish around bikes. But I can see hooking him up normally within the next couple of rides. When I got back to the house with my Golden and tried to take my Pittie outside for her turn, the Golden stood at the door and barked at us, not wanting us to leave him home! Best of all, the dogs were exhausted after their runs!!!! *SIDE NOTE* I also bought the low rider attachment because I though my Pittie would be too strong for the original device...#1. The original device handled her strength just fine with some fine tuning and tightening #2. I don't like the way the lower rider attached to the bike. I connected it and it made my rear tire sit crooked and rub against the bike frame. Maybe I did it wrong, but it doesn't matter. The original walky dog worked perfectly! I'll be returning the low rider attachment! So buy this with NO reservations! It's AWESOME! *the only improvement I'd like to see is the ability to take 2 dogs at once...because mine get upset when I take only one at a time! See the pics attached. #1.
