I have a shelf of plants in a room that does not get allot of light, I had been using the ceiling lighting, which did ok, my plants have been surviving. However, I saw very little growth from them. Decided to get this light because it was a white light and would fit in the socket. I leave it on about 5 hours a day and have noticed some changes. I see some new leaves and the plants reaching towards the light. I would probably get more growth if I had the light closer to the plants, but this will at least keep them from dying.
