A few years ago, a friend talked me into getting a hand blender, mainly to make creamy soups. However, I found out that I didn't use it. I ended up giving it to another friend. Recently, I've been kicking myself for giving it away, but told myself that there's nothing wrong with giving a friend a gift! Finally, I went on Amazon to get myself another one. I went by the reviews and didn't read about the accessories. I saw that it appeared to have containers to place blended stuff in. Totally useless in my book, but okay. Today, I took mine out of the box. At first, I couldn't get the whisk into the blender. Finally, I took out the instructions. Do you see a pattern here? As an English major, I don't seem to read much! It was then that I noticed the optional devices. IT HAS A CHOPPER? It's powerful, with a speed adjustment. It's well built. Not flimsy. I have scrambled eggs for breakfast most days. I stir them with a fork. SO OLD SCHOOL! Not anymore! My eggs were well blended, an uncommon thing. I am 66. I've spent a lifetime saving money and buying cheaper things that fall apart. Not anymore. Now, I select them to last. Well done, KOIOS. This one will never be 'gifted,' though I wouldn't put it past me to buy more.....as gifts.
