I am 89 years old and for years I have had trouble cutting my toenails with a conventional toenail clipper. I had to have facial tissue nearby (to stop any bleeding) as well as bandaids and liquid bandaids because I usually ended up cutting my skin along with the nails. This product ended that problem. First, I had not been soaking my feet in warm water with a cup of dissolved epsom salt. Secondly I did not have a nail cleaner and thirdly I did not have a nail nipper shaped like this one. The nail cleaner has an flat end on the point that makes it easy to clean around the nail sides without any pain. The clipper was super easy to use, it cut the nail quickly and evenly without the usual skin cutting. However, I still have to be careful because the tip of the trimmer is very, very sharp and could easily cut the skin if I would accidently hit the skin with the tip. The nail file was also very useful in trimming any nail rough spots. I am amazed at the quality of the product for the low price. This is the first time in a very long time that I have been able to cut my toenails without incident and have them look very good.
