Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I got this vacuum a few days ago and tried it out in two bedrooms and a short hallway. The vacuum was super loud, and I didn't see much in the collection canister when I was finished. It also didn't seem to be picking up much. My husband went to empty what was there, and noticed a bulge under the filter. The filter had been put on incorrectly and the dirt had collected and compacted under the filter He pulled it of and emptied the dirt. Then he re-assembled it correctly (which was a bit tricky because a plastic piece had been bent by forcing incorrect installation). I've used it a couple of times since and it's MUCH quieter and appears to be picking up very well. As a "certified refurbished" product, it's disappointing that I had to figure out how to "fix" it after the first use. Bottom line: I like the vacuum, but I'm not convinced that it was "certified" refurbished.
