Turns out SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. Actually, that's not true. I am not into cutting boards. I am into this magisterial masterpiece some people malign as a simple cutting board. It is not an understatement to say that this cutting board changed my life and has given me new purpose. Need to cut some veggies for a dank pot of chili? BOOM. Done. Easy.
