This helps SO much more for pain relief than any of the typical numbing gel products out there, plus---it smells and tastes better. I have a cracked molar with a missing filling, have had this tooth get real evil on me last fall/winter. Had a traumatized experience at a well known dental office chain, and now too much anxiety to go back. I have been rinsing mouth out with 3% peroxide prior to ordering this (which I truly believe saved me from needing to get on more antibiotics for this same tooth) Rinse with 1/2 water and 1/2 of 3% hydrogen peroxide ---rinse mouth well with water a few times after---and that should get you out of that painful dark side. This clove leaf oil is the kicker to keep pain away! It is a MUST BUY! ***Tip application is difficult especially since I am new to essential oils and their bottles, but if you can pull the top off the jar there is a little mini shovel type stick underneath that cap--dunk in oil and in mirror let the oil drip onto tooth---replace cap and close with outer cap. There is a mild warming sensation that quickly turns to numb. Pain has not returned since and it's been 24 hours! It's pretty cool!
