We purchased this product in January 2017, over a year ago. This was a replacement for another brand we owned, which had broken. The Eparé unit worked great. We use it to grind peppercorns, and I really like the ability to adjustment the grind. Recently, the unit stopped grinding. The light worked, and the grind would sometimes work. I wrote Eparé via the Amazon seller link on the product page. Their customer service group got back in touch with me quickly. They said my unit was covered by their limited lifetime warranty, and they would send me a new motor unit. Today, two days later, the motor unit arrived via USPS Priority Mail. I inserted the batteries, locked the motor unit onto the product bay module, and voila - the unit is working perfectly! It seems to be a rare find these days when a vendor is so responsive!
