But it's worth the investment. I've been down with a herniated disc in my lower back for a month and a half. Went through a couple other cheaper cold packs. All failed, ruptured, leaked, or failed to stay cold. The Coldest Ice Pack cost twice as much as the others but has been extremely reliable. For starters, the exterior is made of a very tough material. My favorite feature is the multiple bladders, 3 to be exact. Love that I can fold it when I store away in the freezer but even better is that 3 smaller segments promote less chance for a rupture. Probably not recommended but I have laid on it without issue. This is key with a lower back pain if you need to ice several times a day. Again, great cold pack. Using it as I am writing this review, it has treated me well for a month and counting.
