It works the way I expected based on other reviews. Yes it comes unscrewed while using, I solved this with a little glue and tape on the handle. As others said, it would be nice to have disposable pads. I found a solution, the Bona Hardwood Floor Wet Cleaning Pads, they have strips on the back that stick to velcro. I cut the pad in 4 equal parts and it is perfect. After it became dirty, I simply rotated the pad and reused it. It sure beats hands and knees cleaning. Now I only have to hands and knees the places too small to use the buddy on. YEA!
