Way cool, right up until it broke almost immediately
I want to say I had maybe 15 minutes of totally awesome water looking lighting effects, but it was really more like 4 minutes. If it had any replaceable parts I would have said it was designed to break. That wasn't the case though, they're just very poorly made. But it's not like there's another option under $150, so what now?
Well, I wasn't about to return something after less than 5 minutes of sound deafening awesomeness, so upon taking it apart, I found the main wheel was just stuck, but not in any sort of way that could make it become easily unstuck. So I snapped the fully frictioned up post in twix, replaced it with a $0.03 screw and BAM, back in business.
Pain in the ass, took more than 2 hours to take the whole thing apart, find the problems, devise a solution, and put it all back together. Hopefully this will help if someone has the same issue.
Also, while you're at it, take a couple small pieces of tin foil and place them in the bowl section. It helps to reflect the light.
All in all, totally worth. Totally.
If for no other reason than the funny instructions on the box.
"please don't stretch or bend the movable main part in any direction with reluctance"
"be sure to read seriously the instruction book"
"please never do things like short circuit charging"
"So be sure never to demount it at random"
Way to go on the translation guys!
