I have the sticky part being used now, but only because the minivan i have has a very big windshield that is too far from reach from the driver's seat. The sticky side is amazing and has already held up to the hot summer days. The mount itself is solid and very stable. Its very sturdy and when compared to other brands likw TomTom and many others, this one definitely wins. I have owned many car mounts for phones. This one holds my larger LG V40 phablet and it holds the smaller phones like google pixel and iPhone. My pictures are to show how it is mounted and to give you an idea of how it is with a medium sized phone. I also clamp down on larger phones than this with no problem.
