This case is worth the hype. I watched several unboxing videos before purchasing, and when I got mine in the mail I was not disappointed. This case is sturdy and the surface has a really nice feel to it. Outside is kind of faux leather and inside it's almost velvety, with the logo imprinted in the soft surface. It feels very expensive and has almost a luxury car-designer thing going on. One element that pleasantly surprised me is the magnetic clipping that happens when you stand the case up. I'm not sure how to explain it right, but when you prop it up at your chosen angle, the flap at the back snaps magnetically to the chosen slot. So it won't fall down at all. This makes it easy to hold the whole thing on your lap in a chair, in bed, wherever. Another great feature is that the pencil can be stored in the charging position, or it can be moved to a slot in the back where it won't drain the iPad's battery. I use my iPad as a drawing tablet instead of a Cintiq (combined with Astropad). If you're an artist and want a big choice of sturdy viewing angles, this one is worth the extra cost vs other cases out there. Especially with the pencil feature mentioned above--you won't lose your pencil, and it won't drain the juice out of your battery.
