I bought this about 10.5 months ago and my first flag just died on me. It got a big rip at the end of the flag opposite the pole. I live in Upstate NY and we've occasionally had a few days with gusts of 70mph wind, and of course it never dawned on me to take the flag down on those days. So if you're down south or mid west with even more wind, your mileage my vary less if you forget to take the flag down on windy days. But at the end of the day, it's 8 bucks for a flag that looks decent in the sky and lasts almost a year; that is pretty good! This is bargain compared to previously when I was buying $40-$60 super high quality flags that would last 2 years.
