I actually purchased the Vitamix 300, BUT THESE ARE THE EXACT SAME MACHINES and for those that didn't know that I thought I'd let ya know so you can make an informed decision. Here is my review posted on the 300's listing page: *****This thing is AMAZING! It chews up anything and everything. We now have fruits and veggies in our diet, yay! No matter what you feed it it ALWAYS comes out with ZERO solids, if you wish. Not even a speck of a solid. Unbelievable. While it was a hard pill to swallow spending $512 from seller BigKitchen, I have no doubt it was an excellent purchase with no regrets. The reputation of Vitamix quality and the fact that we are finally eating fruits and veggies daily makes spending so much money worth it. I imagine having this Super Blender for 20 years. A wise investment in one's health. Btw, the 300, 750 and 7500 Vitamix blenders are all the exact same machines - except that one of those has presets, which I do not find I miss. The difference in the mentioned models (besides the presets) is what cookbook(s) you get. That's it. Same nuts and bolts (motors, container, blades, specs.). My advice, buy whichever's cheaper at the time. I did. And as for recipes, there's a ton on the web, including Vitamix's site. Therefore, you don't even "need" a book.
