My girls are BIG chewers. Few things survive even days with them. The Benebone line has been a saving grace for us, and this new bone/stick is no different. Not only can it meet the challenge on toughness, the design is another hit for helping them "hold" on while chewing. Flavor: My girls went to work on these as soon as I opened the box (something they don't always do with new toys). Obviously, the smell/taste is the first test, and it passed. Texture: Benebone products are great. Very tough, but just pliable enough that keeps them interested. They can get those bristles up pretty quick, which is what is great for their teeth. Keeps the pearly whites, pearly white. Design: I used to not think too much about this, but it is important. If they aren't able to manipulate it, they lose interest pretty quick. I seems like Benebone does their research on this. Because parts are raised on matter how it lays, there is always something easily accessible for chewing. But they are also easy for them to use their paws to manipulate, turn, and hold on to. I can't wait for more new designs from this company, because we are batting a thousand with their products. If you have a strong chewer, this is one of the few products that can endure.
