I spray painted mine with hammered copper spray paint to make it look less cheap. I then purchased a foam circle, cut it so that it would fit in the top, and added extra fake foliage that I got on the clearance rack at Michael’s. I did use the foliage that came with the litter box, but cut the leaves individually with wire cutters so that they could be arranged as opposed to just stuck in one place. A little hot glue and some fake moss from Walmart (the moss that comes with this product is awful and went straight into the trash), and this thing turned out great. We have it next to live plants that are on stands, and this honestly blends right in. Also, the cat uses it, almost all of the litter stays inside, and I’m pretty sure that it would be impossible for her to “miss” the litter box like happens with shorter ones, since this is a nicely contained “pot”. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a better/nicer way to have a litter box. I spent maybe $15 total to dress this up more.
