I'm reviewing this right away since there were no reviews when I bought it's, but do plan to update after using for awhile to see how it holds up. The mat is thick and comes rolled up with a warning to use caution unrolling. Yeah, that's not just one of those "the lawyers said we had to" warnings... This thing SHOT OPEN and laid almost completely flat immediately! Do yourself a favor: when it's time to unroll, make sure you are far enough away from your desk that the wind from the opening doesn't blow all your papers everywhere (like it did for me!) So far the mat is allowing for a very smooth roll with my standard 5-wheeled chair. No divots in the carpet yet - the "paperclip test" had the depth of about 3/4" for carpet and pad + I'm pretty heavy. The mat has a like bit of texture down in the photo.
