If you are looking for a glass screen protector for your Samsung Galaxy S7, you will notice that most available including this one have many bad reviews. I have researched this to death looking for the best glass protector. The issue is that on the S7 (and I am talking about the plain S7, not the S7 Edge) most of the screen protectors stops short of both edges leaving a small gap on each side. Most people are blaming the screen protector manufacturer for this but the real cause of this issue is Samsung. I have both the S6 and the S7. Both look identical. I have the Tech Armor protector on my S6 and it looks great and covers the entire screen. I bought my wife's S7 at large big box store and it came with a similar screen protector which did not cover both sides similar to the Tech Armor for the S7. At first I laughed thinking it was just a mistake by the store. Turns out that screen protector cracked with days anyway. When went to Amazon to replace it I noticed that every glass screen protector I could find also did not cover the screen edge to edge. Turns out that Samsung designed the S7 with an ever so slight curve on each edge. This curve is not even noticeable but it is there. For this reason the screen needs to be cut short of the edge because it can only adhere properly to a perfectly flat surface. If it were to go edge to edge like a few out there do, the edges would not lay flush to the glass and you would accumulate dust under the screen and it would eventually peel off. I considered a film screen protector but the protection is no where near glass. There are also curved glass protectors that go edge to edge but they only have adhesive on the edges and get bad reviews because they pop off easily and they have poor touch response. So given the choices, this style screen protector is your best option and Tech Armor has always been my favorite for all my other devices. If you are unhappy with it, it is the fault of Samsung's design of this screen and not the glass protector. My wife uses the S7 and she doesn't mind this gap at the edge of the screen protector. Quite frankly, if it were my phone I would be unhappy but I would have returned the S7 because of the screen design. Samsung probably has a good reason for this design but must take into consideration the biggest problem with expensive smart phones. People drop them and break there screens. So whatever slight enhancement this new screen design has, it is not worth the compromise needed to protect it. In the future, I will now research this type of issue prior to buying any new phone. BUT FOR ALL YOU BAD REVIEWERS OUT THERE. PLEASE DO NOT BLAME THE SCREEN PROTECTOR, BLAME SAMSUNG FOR THE SCREEN DESIGN. Again, this is for the S7 not the S7 Edge. We all know the S7 Edge has a curved screen which is obvious but no one knew there was a slight un-noticeable curve in the S7 that would make covering it with glass protection a kludge at best.
