Well... I've just purchased this, and broken it already during assembly! I am hopeful the company will replace the broken parts, because the assembly instructions were not at all clear with tiny pictures I used a magnifying glass to see. If you purchase this, here are 3 things I learned you might find helpful: First, the 2" sleeve has a set screw that is very difficult to remove (several other reviewers note this as well). I had to get a small pipe to slip over the allen wrench to add more leverage to turn it. Second, nowhere in the instructions specifies where all the various washers and lock washers go. They all have a place - the lock washers go on the two large set screws, the 4 flat washers go on the quick adjust knobs, etc. Lay everything out and match them up with the right #/size screws. Third, and most important (this is what I broke), if the "quick adjust" do not tighten easily, do NOT keep turning harder as that will strip them. Instead, switch them to the other side of the tire holder racks (the FLAT side), where they will tighten easily to hold the racks in place. I stripped 2 of the quick change knobs before I figured out my mistake (I looked about 10 times at the instructions, which were no help). I hope Swagman will replace them. :-(
