I own this teleprompter and the one from Interact Media iPad iPad2 iPad3 iPad4 iPad Mini Teleprompter R810-10 with Beam Splitter Glass This is a far superior product. There are a number of problems with the Interact that are addressed in the Caddie Buddy. The construction of the Interact is pretty basic - and so there are screw heads popping out in bad places, or nuts that make it hard to mount to certain tripods. And the mounting plate is too large - it makes it hard to get the battery out of my Canon DSLR (although it is possible - but usually involves removing the battery door. But most importantly - the Caddie Buddy folds flat. If you even need to move your teleprompter, this is the one for you. The Interact does the trick (and it was great when it was the only option on the market,) but it should be able half the price of the Caddie Buddy. Now the downsides: the velcro (although far superior to the Impact) can peel off of the top of the frame. And the tripod mounting plate should be longer so that it has less play.
