This mini projector is great for family movie nights at home. So far I have tried to connect a laptop and USB to this projector and both works. The picture is not as good as those shown in movie theater, which is expected, but it's decent enough for movies at home. My whole family had fun pretending to be in a theater. I'd give it five star just for giving my kids experience safely and making them super happy. A couple things I learned while using it: 1. This projector does NOT have a battery, so no need to charge it but does need to plug it in while using it. 2. If you want to connect to your iPhone/iPad or Android smartphone, it is doable but cables needed are not included in the package.
