Since I started using this pillowcase I no longer have large pillow creases on my face when I wake up! I'm 49 and this is a relatively new problem for me. In the past, those pillow creases would go away pretty quickly and were not really a big deal to me. Now it takes hours for them to go away and I wonder if eventually they will become permanent. In addition my hair looks much better in the morning then it did using a regular pillowcase. I take my showers at night so this is a real blessing for me. I am actually getting compliments on my hair after having slept on it a whole night and having done nothing but brush it in the morning. Having one side of the pillow being cotton is brilliant because my pillow stays where it supposed to stay and doesn't slide all over the place like a 100% silk pillow does. My queen size pillow is on the large and it's usually hard to get the pillow into the pillowcase. There is no struggle to get my pillow into this pillowcase. Needless to say, I highly recommend this product and couldn't be happier with this purchase. Update - I washed it in the gentle cycle with cold water today. The tag said to hand wash it but I didn't think there would be a problem. I did take the label's advise and air dried it. The tag said to use a cool iron. I don't know what that means so I set my iron to silk and took a few minutes to iron the silk side. I didn't see a need to iron the cotton side since the pillow is always silk side up. Anyway, it was a success. The pillowcase looks like new. Good night. I have been relying on these reviews for my own purchase decisions for many years.
