I have read the reviews on this I do not understand why no one has ever done the "test," on a product to see if it is the product that is rolling up or if your dead, flaky skin is actually coming off. Steps for the test: Get a smooth surface: bottom of a glass bowl will do. Put on gloves; keeps your skin from being exposed to product. Wet bottom of bowl; see instructions on tube. Put small amount of product on gloved fingertips. Start "applying" product to bottom of bowl in circular motion; once again see instructions on tube. Massage product in circular motion for 30 seconds or longer. Did the product bead up and become gummy? No, then the product isn't to blame for the gummy beads. Did the product just get spread in a large circular pattern? Second part of Test: Apply warm water to back of opposite hand or arm from the gloved hand. Apply small amount of product to gloved finger tips. Apply to back of hand or arm in a circular motion. Massage product for 30 seconds or longer. Did product bead up? If yes, then this is your old skin releasing and being removed. Did product evaporate and do nothing? Then this product isn't for you, you do not have dry skin issues. I spent several years looking for a product like this, I used something very similar to this for extremely dry or acned skin in facials. Only kicker it cost up to $600 retail of one ounce. I couldn't even afford it at Wholesale price. This works exactly like it is supposed to and is excellent for skin the is eczemic, dry/flaky, or dull. Dulling happens with age because of the loss of collagen and the skin losing the ability's to slough off naturally. It gentle and does not abrade the skin like scrubs, something you have to be careful of with sensitive skins types. It is also affordable. I suspect many people did not read the directions carefully before using this product, or they are in denial of how much dead skin they have on their face. If you have skin allergies, read the ingredients before using anything on your face or body. It also works better if you use this in the shower after being in the warm/hot water for a minute, the steam from the shower helps your skin to loosen up before application.
