I bought this leaf blower/vacuum 2 weeks ago and am so pleased that I did. Why didn't I do it 5 years ago? I have a small yard with several huge oaks and maples hanging over it - there are LOT of leaves. The leaves don't spread too far, but scooping up rake-full after rake-full is really hard on my back. This vacuum is so much easier, and I use fewer leaf bags because it mulches the leaves. It is loud and intrusive, so I try to use it in the mid to late afternoon. I have read other reviews for this and similar blowers that complained that the bags tore quickly. I make sure not to over fill and dump leaves fairly often. I had a B&D blower before but left it behind when I moved across the country (don't know why), and have never had a problem with that one and don't expect I will with this one.
