I am a professional commercial photographer and I have been looking for a screen that was independently capable of playing my portfolio and behind the scenes imagery in the lounge area of my studio when clients are in. When walking through walmart I grabbed the 70.00 sylvania 10" screen as an impulse buy. The resolution was so bad that it looked like an old atari system trying to play a photo. I immediately returned it and started researching something better. I came across this screen here on amazon and was mostly interested in how big it was. After reading a few reviews, which were all over the place, I purchased it along with the wall hanging unit recommended for it. The 16gig usb flash drive that goes with the screen is really nice! I dropped a bunch of my high res images to the drive and put it in the screen and it instantly started playing the slideshow which was nice. The remote is easy to use and figuring out the simple menu system was as easy as can be. I did have to make a couple of screen adjustments to get the correct brightness, color and contrast I wanted for my images playing on the screen. Make sure to adjust these settings to your liking. The image quality was about what I expected which was nice. Im so used to mac retina displays that everything else just looks awful in comparison. Considering this is not a super high end mac screen, I have the say the the image quality was acceptable and looked great. The high res landscape formatted images looked much nicer than the portrait framed shots in my opinion. I did notice some pixelation, mostly in the vertically framed shots. Its also important that you go into the settings and select "original" when it comes to how it shows the images so as to not "stretch" your shots, which will make them look much worse i noticed. I attached some images of what the screen looks like in my lounge area and the image quality. This screen I'm keeping and it has satisfied my needs for a client portfolio slideshow in my lounge. I definitely recommend it!
