Took my son to a podiatrist and he explained the different inserts and what was needed for his flat feet. He explained that the ones in the stores like Walmart etc, only have a foam in the arch but what was needed was more of a hard plastic. I bought a pair at the podiatrist that cost a fortune. I found these and they are the same quality for 1/4 of the doctor's office price. They fit perfectly and son said they feel great!
