I hate blowdryers. Hate them. I have thick hair...and by the time I've dried all of my hair...my arm is ready to fall off. I also hate mornings. It takes me forever to get dressed, get fed...get my stuff together and get out of the house. These rollers have solved all of my morning problems. How? I keep them in my car. In the morning...I sit in my car with hair that's still pretty damp from my morning shower...and that I've applied a "leave in" styling conditioner to. Then I put these rollers in my hair...which is medium length. Then I point the blowers from my car's heating/air conditioning at my head...and drive 40 minutes to work. Listening to NPR...drinking coffee. Sure I get a few funny stares...but at least I'm not doing my make up or applying nailpolish...ya know? Right before I pull into the parking lot...I pull the rollers out... and presto! Right from the salon hair...no blow drying. I call it Salon de'Corolla. Anyway...I have VERY thick hair. These stay in wonderfully. If you have long or thin hair you might want to use clips to keep the rollers in the more challenging sections of your hair. These are really MEGA rollers. They work great for straightening shortish-medium length hair and adding an undercurl...but if you're looking for CURL...get a smaller size.
