I couldn't be more happy. It performs better than the other 10 inch ...
UPDATE 12/22/2016: I liked it well enough that I picked up a second one for my wife for Christmas, so she would stop hijacking mine to read her books. There's a HD mounted on the wall in the bedroom, but she still prefers to watch Netflix on this while laying in bed. No idea why, but if the wife is happy, I'm happy. Happy Holidays everyone.

I picked this up when the price dropped to $179, and for that price, I couldn't be more happy. It performs better than the other 10 inch budget tablets near the same price point. It is very lightweight and the screen is large. It's 720p, and a lot of people knock that, but at the distance you'll hold it from your face you probably won't even notice. While not as high resolution as other 10.1 inch tablets, it is more than adequate for Kindle books, web browsing, Netflix, etc., and the reality is that you won't get anywhere near the top end specs in a tablet for less than $200.
There are other 10.1 inch tablets with MUCH nicer screens that are noticeably better than this. But the people that complain about the lack performance and disparity between this and other, more expensive, tablets seem to fail to consider that this tablet was never meant to compete head-to-head with those. The entire premise behind it's design was to pack the best possible components into the least costly package, and get it out to the masses for media consumption. It's better than the no-name tablets, but not as refined as the branded flapship devices. If you go into it expecting anything else, you'll be disappointed.
I purchased this one, specifically, because I do not need another high-end, $500 dollar tablet, and intended to use this only as an auxiliary screen for my workstation. I don't need it to be lightning fast because my PC is lightning fast. I use it for watching Netflix and Prime Video, the news, and sometimes, to read articles. While it's more than capable of being utilized as a primary device, if you want lightning fast performance look elsewhere. If you want a budget 10.1 inch device that's faster and better looking than the no-name brands, that plays video quickly, this is probably what you're looking for.
I've included it in a pic of how I use it at my workstation. The tablet stand I'm using is also sold here on Amazon at: TaoTronics TT-HS07 Tablet Stand Easy-lock Holder, 360 Swivel, Padded Holder, Sturdy Aluminum Arm for iPad Air Mini, Galaxy Tab and Windows, Android Tablets.
