The camera's wide angle lens and high resolution is excellent even when viewed remotely. The pan and tilt motors are quiet so the camera can be truly out of sight and out of mind. The built-in microphone picks up audio very well and the talk-back function is surprisingly clear. All in all, for a 1080p camera this is a great value and a great piece of tech. My only one gripe is the Amcrest iPhone app. I keep having to add my camera from a list to view it when I open up the app. It doesn't stay on the initial view for whatever reason. Maybe I'm missing something. Aside from that it is highly configurable through its built-in management software or the desktop software you can download. In the picture is my kitchen which is dimly lit at the moment but you can still see a great amount of detail. This shot was also taken remotely. If it gets any darker, the IR takes over and would cover the room so you can still see everything in great detail.
