First, let me give you some specifics: I'm 5'4" tall, I weigh approximately 180lbs and my waist is almost 37" around. That being said, I ordered a 2XL based on reviews from other customers. The pattern and fabric are very vivid color wise. It's a good quality material and beautiful pattern. It's comfortable as well. The 2XL proved to be a tad too large for me. I can wear it more on my hips than my waist. In fact, it actually falls down if I put it at waist level. But this didn't affect my satisfaction at all. The skirt has pockets that are quite roomy. It's also flattering, even though it's a little too big. If I had gotten it a size smaller, it probably would have fit better in the waist, but I doubt it would make a big difference in the overall fit. I'm keeping it. I tried it on with and without a petticoat underneath. I like it either way. I can't wait to order more of these. I'll probably get it in every single pattern! It's a great skirt for the price! I highly recommend!
