Who would have thought picking out a pair of slippers would be so difficult? For most people, maybe it’s easy. I have always gone barefoot in my house - always, even in the NH winter. But recently I have been trying to get rid of calluses on my feet and realize that going barefoot doesn’t help. So I was off to find a decent pair of super comfy slippers. My must haves were comfy, memory foam bottoms and soft outer soles. I didn’t care so much about the tops provided they were soft. I initially bought a pair of Isotoner clogs but hated that they felt like shoes when reclining or relaxing on the couch. Also, didn’t like the clunky sound when walking around the house. Then I purchased some super soft plush slippers with non skid bottoms. They are really comfortable but they make a squeaky sound when walking on the wood floors. I feel like Goldilocks. The Isotoner ballerina flats are just right. They are very comfy without being over the top. They aren’t too hot but keep my feet warm. They have insoles that have some spring back like memory foam but they don’t call it that. The bottoms are suede or micro suede and very quiet - just what I was looking for. I wear a size 8 1/2 in shoes and the size large fits fine. I couldn’t see these fitting a size nine as stated though.
