In case you are wondering about this product, here is my detailed review. I paid for this product along with all of the products used and my review was in no way solicited by any person or company. I was like you, reading the reviews and trying to decide if this brush straightener would actually work. I decided that for the price it was worth taking a chance. Here is my story and photos- This is the 4th time I have used this product and love it so much that today I decided to take photos, give details and post reviews. I am not endorsing any of the styling products, just showing what I used for this review. First I washed my hair with Kendra shampoo and used Nexus on the ends for conditioning. After applying the John Frieda straightening creme I then dried my hair using a John Frieda hair dryer. (pictures 1 and 2) After my hair was dry I divided it into a bottom section going around my head and lightly sprayed the flat iron addict over this section. I used the hair straightener set at the 200 C setting and for the first pass used it on the top of my section of hair, then made 2-3 passes underneath then one pass over the top, finishing with an underneath pass. Then I made another section of hair and did the same thing. In total I used about 5-6 sections of hair and repeated the entire process. This process took me 8 minutes according to the time on my phone. (pictures 3-4) At the very end I used a few drops of biosilk and smoothed the top and underside of my hair. (picture 5) I love how this brush takes away the frizz and straightened my hair without making it flat like the irons do. It is full of body, soft and shiny. I loved it so much I ordered another one! I do want to comment that the instructions say to not leave the straightener brush sitting for a long time turned on and that Immediately after using I turn it off. When it is set at the 200C temp it doesn't not take long to get too hot (will begin to smoke) when not using using and should be turned off quickly.
