I own the 2019 version of the Fire Cube 4k and I loved it. When I saw the newer model came out (Fire Cube 2021) it was still 4k, so, I ordered it, thinking if I didn't see or hear any real improvements, I would just return it. When I plugged up the new Fire Cube 2021 I was astonished with the improvement in the video quality as it was much more detailed with richer color than my 2019 model. I am an audio guy and had noticed previously that the best "audio" in streaming video was on Netflix. The audio on Netflix sounded better with more detail than the 2019 Fire Cube or Apple TV. I researched the audio on Netflix and found they used a much higher audio sampling rate (i.e. the higher the sampling rate, the better audio quality). Now back to the Fire Cube 2021. The audio quality on this new unit just blew me away (it was even better than the Netflix or Apple TV audio). In fact, the new Fire Cube 2021 has the best "audio" for video I have ever heard. The much improved picture and the incredible audio quality take watching videos to an entire new level. I have gone back and looked at movies that I have seen many times, and on the new Fire Cube I saw things and heard things that I had never seen before. It's like you can go look at previously viewed movies and gain a whole new experience. The 2021 Fire Cube has Alexa with an Alexa remote control. You can either tell Alexa what you want to see (on either the remote, or just speaking in the room). I salute the Amazon design team that created the Fire Cube 2021, it is a marvel of engineering. Take it from me, even if you are pleased with your current Firestick or Fire Cube 2019 - order the new Fire Cube 2021 and you will never regret it as it will move your watching of streaming videos to an entire new level. I would give this unit 12 stars if I could.
