I did quite a bit of comparisons online between this and other similar products, so I can't speak for the actual quality of the competition, but this product has left me very happy and satisfied. You plug it in and it delivers a stunning, beautiful, and calming experience that can take up a whole room, even one as large as my living room that is roughly 27 x 14 feet. Watch my video for a pretty extensive review, but I did forget to show or mention a few things. First, the video only shows projector at full brightness, which is very vivid in a dark room where there is basically no light coming in from windows. In the daylight, you might not even really notice the effects at all. Again, in a very dark room, reducing the brightness to the minimum level will make it easier on the eyes, especially for sleeping. The brightness adjustment handles both the aurora and star brightness at the same time, so these cannot be individually adjusted. I would imagine that if you are buying this, you are likely going to be using it in a dark room anyway. Second, it also has 2 timer functions - 1 hour and 2 hours. Pushing the button will briefly make the projector flash brightly and sound a tone to let you know that it has been set. Works as expected - after the set time, the lights and sound will turn off. Anyway, I very much recommend this product and have shared the experience with some family and friends and they all have said that they want one now, too.
