Our deep-fryer died, so we purchased the little 'kettle' to use while we researched another "big" one. Well - this little sweetheart does it all .. Fries, steams, simmers .... We make sugar water for hummingbirds and our honey-bees. Neither nectar should come to a boil - We just add water, sugar, stir and set the Kettle on 200 & no more watching the pot ... We also raise chickens for their delicious eggs. But as most of you know, peeling a farm-fresh egg is nearly impossible if boiled, but steam them? And the shell falls off easily ... I can make egg salad, potato salad, deviled eggs now .. with no hassle at all ... Seriously folks .. this little gem is a great tool in your cooking arsenal ... It may be small .. but it's dynamite !
