The first few days of using Underarmed, I thought it was working okay. Then, by the end of the week, I started to smell horrible. I contacted the owner and he explained that the detox process of getting rid of aluminum can initially cause worse body odors. I have used aluminum based antiperspirants since they were first invented, so I was a tough detox candidate. The smell was terrible. It even woke me up in the middle of the night! The owner recommended putting apple cider vinegar under my arms to change the pH and said to be patient because my body was adjusting to being aluminum free. He said it could take 3 weeks or longer. I was determined to see it through, and I am really glad I did. At the end of three weeks, the odor suddenly went away and now the deodorant works great! I love the all natural ingredients and the lavender fragrance. As a beekeeper, I like that it contains organic raw honey and chemical-free beeswax. All the ingredients are pure and designed to get rid of the bacteria that underarm sweat feeds on. I think this product is wonderful and the customer service is great. I just ordered more Underarmed and plan to use it from now on.
