Ever since I bought my house there has been one huge thorn in my side. The neighbors have two very loud small dogs who barked non stop from the moment I moved in. I was able to make friends with the male dog (had to bribe him with food but he's my pal now) but the female dog is just insane. There's no reasoning with her. The only time she doesn't bark is when she's chewing the treat I gave her, the she's barking again. Every time I dare to step outside she's right there at the fence barking non stop for hours on end (unless i'm doing something loud like mowing or wood chipping). I've tried ultra sonic bark discouragement devices but they don't do the trick. Finally in desperation I resorted to this horn. I tried it for the first time today and man does that thing work great! I gave her one verbal warning which she ignored, and then I gave her a blast with the horn. She retreated in terror and hasn't bothered me but once all day and a verbal warning shut her right up. I didn't even need to use the horn again. I made a little sling attached to my belt and I'll carry it with me when I'm doing yard work. Maybe, just maybe I can finally have a little peace. Being free from that constant verbal harassment would be wonderful indeed. This has been going on for THREE YEARS NOW! Man I hope this continues to work!
