I cannot believe how well my chihuahua mix has responded to this instrument. The first time I used it she stopped barking at a group of dogs. She has a history of growling and barking at other dogs to the point where dog walkers go the other way when they see us. I used this as soon as I got it and took it with us to the Vet. She started to exhibit her usual behavior of growling at the other dogs, but when I pressed the button she immediately stopped. She actually sat on my lap just looking at the dogs instead of lunging at them. I am so grateful for this device. This has saved us a whole lot of money that we were going to have to spend on a dog behaviorist.
