When I first started researching this thermostat it did not look like I had a C wire. I was a little disappointed because it look like I would not be able to use this thermostat. I started digging a little deeper, and discovered there was a blue wire in the wall behind the old thermostat that required a battery. I pulled out the blue wire and connected it to the C terminal of the old thermostat. Then I pull the batteries out of the old thermostat, and the display went off. So I started thinking maybe the blue wire isn’t connected at the furnace. So I opened the furnace and discovered the blue wire was not connected, so I connected the blue wire up to the C-terminal. I just installed the new Honewell thermostat everything went extremely smooth we are very pleased that we can now access our thermostat from the Internet from our iPhones.
