I am a dog caretaker, and I figured I can buy this to keep my customers dogs happy and hydrated. The size is great at 40 Oz. I received this item 4/10/21, yesterday and noticed the same thing another reviewer mentioned (BeccaWNC) if you enlarge my 3rd photo, you can see where rubber is turning white, when you flip over the leaf to make this into a bowl. It looks like it is stretching rubber almost to it’s breaking point. I hope this is not the case and will not cause any issues while trying to use. I hope this is covered by the lifetime warranty, since I noticed immediately upon opening the item. The product itself seems well made, and has substantial weight to it even while empty. I can see why they also sell the neoprene holder. I deem this as a necessary accessory to keep hold of this container, and I’m glad I purchased this at the same time. I know I would’ve regretted it if I didn’t due to weight alone. As of moment, I’m glad I made this purchase.
