I was feeling really sad about the scent reformulation in my beloved Johnson & Johnson pink baby lotion. After accepting that the generic brands will never smell quite as good, I set out to find a new “baby” scented classic. This lotion does not smell like J & J LOTION, But it smells EXACTLY like J & J POWDER. Soft, tender, and very powdery. The scent is quite strong when first applied, but settles in nicely after 10 min or so. If you apply all over, it will linger softly on your clothing all day. Heaven! I absolutely love this lotion. But, bear in mind that I bought it specifically for the fragrance (and I’m thrilled with that part). As a lotion, it is not particularly thick and creamy, so if you have eczema or dry itchy skin it may not cut it for you. I would describe the texture as similar to Bath & Body Works lotions— which I also just use as a body fragrance because I don’t have dry skin anyway and therefore I appreciate a fast absorbing product.
