I received my new Cheftronic stand mixer yesterday on 5/15/2016. I choose the white one, by the way. I am very pleased with the quality and workmanship of this mixer. I had decided a couple months ago that I needed a stand mixer, so I think that since then, I've probably looked at every one of them on Amazon at least 30 times, comparing them and reading customer reviews, which I always do before a purchase. I saw a mixer that looked decent, was about half the price of this one, but I read many negative reviews in which customers weren't pleased with their purchase due to the attachments falling apart, the mixer motor blowing up, or the bearers not reaching the bottom of the bowl. I also knew that I didn't have the money to spend on a KitchenAid. After weeks of pondering and comparing, I decided to go with Cheftronic. People, I am SO glad I did. I used my new mixer last night to make a cake, so I'm able to say a few things about it. First of all, it's a reasonably quiet machine, it doesn't sound like a jet taking off in your kitchen. Secondly, I had no problem with my attachment not reaching the bottom of the bowl, it reached and it mixed everything very well, so that's one of the things I was concerned about from the reviews, but don't worry... It does reach the bottom. I had also read about how tightly the splatter guard fits, it is a rather tight fit, but that's what I would want for the purpose it serves. It's not so tight that it will break, but it seals well. The mixing bowl does lock into the stand and the mixer itself has suction cups on the bottom of it so that it doesn't slide across your counter while you're using it. I know that the KitchenAid has more attachments such as the meat grinder, etc, but if you are in the market for just a stand mixer, the Cheftronic is your product. It has 4 beater attachments, the wire whip, which is round, not cone-shaped, so it mixed everything in the bottom of the bowl very well; the dough hook and metal paddle, which are very sturdy and made from quality materials; and the plastic paddle, which I used for my cake, and it has hard rubber edges for even better mixing quality. I am very pleased with my purchase and I highly recommend this product.
