Living in a townhouse, we don't have a chicken coup or anything that would attract coyotes or deer. However, we were pleasantly* surprised when two racoons celebrated Valentine's Day on our 3rd floor balcony, right outside of our bedroom. After two hours of tragic whirlwind romance, we finally got peace and quiet at 2am. At least one of them returned in the following week fulfilling its "Sleepless in Seattle" promise of meeting up again. I did some research on Wikipedia, and to my dismay, March and April are their prime mating season. Panicked, I bought this device immediately and received it in the mail in two days (thanks Prime!). We haven't installed any night vision cameras outside to confirm whether they returned and got scared away by the ominous red blinking eyes, but we certainly haven't been woken up by any passionate squeaking. I will rate the product 4 stars now and if we survive the next few months without getting invited to any raccoon baby showers, we will upgrade it to 5 stars!
