Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I use this to both wash and store my salad in for the week and I'm really happy with it (especially for the price). I appreciate that the mechanism used to spin the salad isn't poorly constructed and that the plastic used to make the container seems solid. The colander (the part that spins) is also built of sturdy poly that doesn't seem likely to break or melt when washed. My two worries when I clicked the buy button were: 1) Is this a flimsy, throw-away that I'm going to need to replace in a year? 2) Can I use this to keep my salad fresh all week? The answers are "no" and "yes" respectively. I'm a happy camper.
